CEMR has subsequently expanded its operations to include AAR certified railcar repair, rail/truck transloading, locomotive repair and sales, railcar storage and freight logistics. CEMR interchanges daily in Winnipeg with CN in Symington Yard and CPR at Transcona Yard.In 2003 CEMR acquired 38 acres of land with 4.5 miles of yard track in North Transcona (Winnipeg) and constructed the CEMR Transportation Centre, with offices, a transload facility and a tracked repair shop. Cando markets its transload operations under the Cando brand 'Cando Modal-Logic.
